I’m having trouble opening an ebook. LIT file. Help?

I have a program(Microsoft reader) that should be able to open the file. It’s a LIT file. But every time I attempt to open it a window pops up and says ” ‘the file’ is not a valid win32 application”
Any suggestions on how I can fix this, or find out the problem?

Use this link you need a program that has the lit file association obviously and if the program is not working what I wouild do is uninstall the program and then reinstall and hopefully that should fix your problem. It could always be something else such as viral infections to your pc.. you should never rule that out as they can wreak havoc on a system if they aren’t detected and removed.
