Need some kind of ebook creator that will setup layout easily so I can just type in the text I have prepared and perhaps add some images. Either a program or templates for Acrobat Writer will do. Any ideas people?

Before you read this please note that I am still fairly new to programming and have little experience.

I am planning a program that works kinda like an ebook but with 4 pannel comic strips.

I want the program to be able to sort through the images and display the one that is needed. My problem is that there are going to be a lot of Jpegs.

My idea was to put them in a .zip file and have the program extract them at runtime.

But there are 2 problems:

1. If they are in a .zip then does that mean I cannot compress the whole program in a .zip? (I don’t think you can zip a .zip)

2. I have no clue how to write the code.

can somebody please help me with this code…or better yet a way that I can have the images stored in the program rather than in a seprate file.

I have a program(Microsoft reader) that should be able to open the file. It’s a LIT file. But every time I attempt to open it a window pops up and says ” ‘the file’ is not a valid win32 application”
