How do you resize an entire e book?

I have an ebook and i want to change the dimentions of each page to 900×1320 (for an iphone). Is there a program that will rezise the entire e book and extract it the same way it was before? Thanks.

Where are most ebooks sold?

Amazon sells ebooks through its Kindle program (but only allow US publishers in) but where are the other main distribution points? A search shows tons of ebook sites but which are the ones that matter?

Is there a distribution database that means that your ebook will be listed everywhere? The equivalent of a major distributor in the real book world?

What is a UIF file? What program will open it?

Downloaded an ebook and it came as an “uif” file and i have no idea how to open it.. googled it and nothing came up for me.
