How do you link a PDF file to a website?

I would like to create a website where I can post my free ebook on how to program in c++, it is a pdf that I made in InDesign. Any Ideas?

    Not sure what you are asking here. A PDF is a file like any other, link it on your web site as you would any other file.

    If you want to explain what your asking a little better, someone might be able to help you.

    I have seen a couple of sites like the one below where you can upload pdf and it is saved as swf, and then you can embed it on your website page the same way you would embed a youtube video. Then when poeple are viewing your webpage they would view your pdf, and it would look just like pdf, but operate just like Youtube with no pdf viewer required to view. This is how scribd.com and other similar sites work.

    This is of course if you want if viewed on line. Otherwise just upload it to rapidshare or whereever and put the link on your page
