Is there any ebook sources or download websites anyone recommends?

I’m looking for: “Introduction to 3D Game Programming with Direct X 9.0c: A Shader Approach”

It’s a lot of money, and before I spend that I want to make sure this is the right book for me.

ebookee.com seems to be gone.

I tried google, but the list of free ebook sites does not have a big database like ebookee.com. I just need more programming books.

I’m guessing people have found a better site than ebookee.com.

How can I create an eBook in Word 2003 with a lot of pictures?

I have received an error message while working on my ebook and it has sufficiently frustrated me to the point of punching and breaking my monitor. It will not display any of the pictures I spent all afternoon integrating into the document. The error message says that it does not have sufficient memory to display the images. Does anyone know of a program that can fix this problem without resizing or reformatting the images? Or is there a way to adjust my virtual memory to allow it to display and modify these images properly? Please let me know.
