PHP is pretty easy. If you know C, you should be able to pick it up just by looking at source code. There’s no shortage of PHP help sites, which Google can help you find. The PHP manual itself is pretty nicely written, especially the online version which allows comments and suggestions from other readers.

To be honist, if you’re a pro with C, then PHP will be a breeze. A great book is PHP, MySQL and Apache by Julie C. Meloni. I was confident with PHP in a few days. The PHP tutorial is good apparently too.

if you are really professional in C and / or C++ Programming languages , php is nothing but a peace of cake to you , because C/C++ Much much harder to learn and much more complicated ,, php is like a very simple version of C, thats right that you gotta use new function names and new orders for parameters but from the other side there is no pointers for example in php , while pointers is one of the known hard and most used things in c..

SO my dear to make life easier for you i would suggest readting an ebook on the subject.
