How do I open up a RB file?

I just downloaded an ebook but it’s an RB file which I looked up and saw that there are about 3 different types of rb files… :| but mine is a story, so does it make it a certain type? Ruby file, Real Basic file…? i’m confused…

can i open this up? what program should i download to open up this file? i have adobe reader and ereader but they don’t work.
