One of the best books for learning is the Visual Quickstart guide, but it’s not available in eBook form.

You might also want to check out Russell Brown’s website for tips and tricks…he has video tutorials (some are also available as video podcasts on iTunes) (he’s a senior creative director at Adobe and was key in the development of Photoshop since the v.1)
