Java For Dummies Example Programs?

Posted Wednesday, September 23, 2009 by admin

I downloaded a copy of Java For Dummies 4th Edition (2006), and The eBook comes with the pdf file, but it doesn’t include things like the specially customized JCreator Environment, or the example programs that come with the normal book and CD-ROM, so I was wondering where I could get the example programs for download, somewhere OTHER than a torrent, because all I found there are sets of eBooks (where you have to download 500 other books, and Java for Dummies MIGHT be one of them), or torrents that have few few seeders. If anyone actually has the .jcw files, maybe you could sent them over to me, or if you know how to get them, please help, thanks!
Yes, but the torrent that has the entire CD won’t let me pick and choose what to download, and the other stuff is just ebooks and probably doesn’t have the files on the CD
NVM, I did a little bit more work and found a page with the things I needed, thanks anyway!

Just so you know, you don’t have to download an entire torrent. In BitTorrent, when you start a download, there is a checklist of each item in the torrent. You can uncheck the ones you don’t want; in fact, I’ve done this to get single items before. It will download much much faster – only the amount of time it will take to download that one piece – because the client will ignore the items you don’t want.
