I have seen reviews for several ebook readers out there. What I want is something portable with a long or very long battery life. It also needs to be easy to read, not use the new e-ink technology, and have available a large enough library.
2 Devices Ive looked into: The Sony Reader and Ebookwise 1150.
Sony reader has good memory and a huge library. Its screen is poorly lit for nighttime reading and e-ink technology ***** when you are turning pages.
Ebookwise has a great battery life, very rugged and easy to read at nighttime. Its cons are small online library, small and expensive memory and rather hard to use interface.

eBook Reader for college?

I have found that in the life of college, books sometimes cost more than the tuition itself. So i have found a cheaper sometimes free way to get the books, eBooks. What I need now though is a cheap but good eBook reader that I can take to class. The Kindle is good but far to expensive for me.
College is more of a professional setting. A PSP would be kind of weird. I guess I will just continue to use my laptop.
Actually there is many eBook readers, Sony, Amazon and Apple and the biggest but I need something that is cheap but good.
