iPod questions?notes, videos & podcasts?

Ok I want 2 upload EBook on my new ipod 120gb classic. According to some research, I have to convert my EBook in to .txt format and then place them in the notes folder in my ipod. to do that I have to enable disk use. I’m afraid that once I enable it I won’t be able to go back to syncing my ipod the normal way with itunes. I’ve also heard that once you do it your ipod memory is swiped out. is that true? But even so, it doesn’t really matter to me, as I have back-up of the music in the same computer.
2. I want to upload free videos, as in movies and music videos but in high quality. I’ve tried uploading & converting via youtube, and the quality is terrible. I want real good quality.And like, I want to upload from alink, because my computer is a bit overloaded & I can’t really download more programs.
3. What are podcasts? They seem pretty lame.

never tried ebooks, so im not sure.
but movies… try using Videora Ipod Converter. its free, and the resulting quality is fantastic.
podcasts are short videos or audio about anything… kinda like a radio or tv show. but they are put out by websites. i agree, most are lame.
