What is the best ebook/book to learn php?

I am looking for an ebook or book that teaches you the basics of php in an level (beginner, novice, expert). Also I’d like if the book was written in user friendly text, not text book type jargon. Also one thats not too long would be nice. Thanks alot the yahoo crowd!
