Ebook program

I was laid off from my job about 2 months ago, and I’ve pretty much had it with the corporate world. I want to get into affiliate marketing, as I have some products that I plan to promote. But I don’t want to spam my message to everyone I know. And I’m not looking for the next best ‘thing’ (program, eBook, video, etc.) since sliced bread! I just would like to see what some of you have done to build your e-mail lists.

This question may sound funny, but I am wondering how could I market my software so I could generate more sales and get better ROI.

The problem is, I am generating very little sales, which lately dont even cover the advertising costs anymore. I am wondering what am I doing wrong? Does my website ****? What kind of website (examples) do work the best?
Where should I market my software, what are the steps necessary to market successfully? What are common mistakes on software marketing?
Is there any eBook (short and clear) you would recommend me to buy?

i know C,Csharp,C++ very well, and i am a good programmer and now i wanna learn more about ASP.NET, but i have no idea where to start from..

do you recommend specific Ebook that i can read about ASP.NET,,, besides do you recommend any editing software for working with ASP.NET ,,,,

and finally, what exactly i can do with this language,,,, ! i mean is it about websites and all stuff like “PHP” language,,

i am really good at pcs, but NOOB in ASP.NET , but here everybody talks about it and everytimes i go to search a new job they ask me if i know ASP.NET or not,,,

so i think its a Good time to start learning it,,,

Hey, so I read really slow, and I know that reading text on a computer is slower than reading text on paper. But how about on ebook readers? I have a lot of reading to do over the summer, and I was wondering if reading books on my ebook reader would be slower than reading paper books?
