Can you be sued for naming names in an ebook?

Posted Sunday, February 21, 2010 by admin

If you’re creating an ebook on which programs/products don’t work or are a rip offs, can you acknowledge them by name, or can that lead to a lawsuit?

i think you can tell your opinion when you like. when you write it in a testimonal style and tell the people that you think it is not working or a rip off then i think it is o.k….just tell what you do not like and what really is not working

but when you go around and tell wrong things about a product to corrupt that product then i think you can get problems with it.

check a product really. write wwhat the product is promised to do and what really happens. that is the same what magazines or tvshows do. this cannot be dangerous…

you better be able to back up your statements, because if you are saying something that is not true – you can definitely get sued

“something doesn’t work” – maybe you just didn’t read the directions properly or just because it doesn’t do what YOU WANT IT TO DO is irrelevant and you can’t just say it doesn’t work unless you have tested it 200 different ways and can prove it
