What is the best way to market an ebooks website?

I purchased a self service ebook website over 2 years ago on Ebay. Since then, I have tried to do my own marketing, but have failed. I Currently get 10 visitors a day. I have sold about 3 ebooks in the past year. I know there are companies out there who want $100 a month to market your website, but can they be trusted?
Will I really start selling 100 ebooks a month, or will I just waste my money? Does anybody know a cheaper, but effective way to get more visitors to my website. Also is 99 cents a good price? or is it too cheap. I had tried higher prices on Ebay but never can sell unless I drop down to 99 cents. I also wrote a few of my own ebooks, but think they should be worth more. Any advice may help. I called my site http://www.ibookcity.com
I am not expect 4 or 5 more people to check out my site and make me rich, But I do want to start investing about $25 a month on marketing, if it is worth it. If not I will get rid of the site.

That’s way too cheap for your book. You have, built into your system, that your book isn’t worth much. I would start at $9.99 minimum. If it’s something you think is great advice, charge even more. It also depends on what payment gateway you’re using.

100$ per month for marketing fees is not bad. Before getting involved with a company offering to market your site, you need to check out their track record and see examples of their work.
There are many cheaper alternatives if you are willing to do a lot of the work. I personally enjoy working on building the site.
I had a good look at your site. I saw a few concerns. Your traffic is so low because of the lack of content that will drive traffic naturally from the search engines. In order to have a successful website you must understand the best ways to generate targeted traffic. There are a few web hosts that will offer to assist you at reasonable and affordable costs. I suggest that you take a look at several to get the best fit. You can certainly take a look at the web host that I use as a great example. They have a web page that talks about e-goods selling.
