1. Start a blog and market it there.
2. Amazon has a marketing program for ebooks.
3. You can advertise it on other diet websites and forums – this costs money, but it may be affordable.
Your question is not about books, it’s about marketing. You’d probably get more and better answers if you post it in Business & Finance, in the Advertising & Marketing section.

E-books are nearly impossible to sell.
You may get some help on this writers board run by pros. They have people who can help you get ideas for promotion.
Hint–spend as little as possible. Buying TV time, ads online, etc. — you’ll never recoup that money in sales, so don’t go there.
Running a blog on LiveJournal, Facebook, etc. are no-cost alternatives.
The thing is, you’ve got a LOT of competition who did not self-pub, go to an e-publisher or take their books to PublishAmerica, so their books are in the stores. You’ve got a hard row to hoe!
