HELP! I want to share my ebook! How do I do it?

Posted Wednesday, March 31, 2010 by admin

I just created an ebook. I saved it as a PDF file on my desktop and I also saved it as a .zip file with WRAR. I want to know how do I share this ebook online. Is there some kind of url that I can extract and give out so everyone can read the ebook. Im totally confused. This is my first and a little help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

To make your book available online, you’ll have to upload it to a server that’s available. Your computer is probably set to not allow people to copy files from it; this helps keep you safe so nobody just grabs your documents.

The common way to do this is to upload it to a file-sharing site like megaupload.com or yousendit.com. Those, however, allow a limited number of downloads. You could also use a P2P sharing system like utorrent or limewire–that makes that one file (or whatever you set up) downloadable from your computer, but you can stop it when you want. And once a copy has been downloaded, other people can continue to share it.
has advice on how to set that up, if you decide to do it that way.

Or you can get a free website from Geocities.com (or something like it), and put it there for people to download.
