I would just hit the fundamentals. Start out with the bare minimum for equipment: a fermenter, brewpot, thermometer, hydrometer, bottles, caps and a capper. Definitely talk about sanitizers and the importance of sanitizing. Then just hit each ingredient as a short topic: malt, hops, yeast and water. Boom. Done.
