Where can I find Pic Make program for converting files?

Posted Sunday, April 4, 2010 by admin

I recently bought an MP-4 player which requires one of three files types: Windows Media Files, Mpeg files or AVI files. The instruction book states that a program called Pic Make will convert from one file type to another. A Google search did not find it. I have used www.zamzar.com with good results, but you have to wait and receive e-mail with your file attached.

People who keep asking for “free books online”?

I understand that nobody is made of money and the main market for many books tends to be tween girls (which is why twilight & harry potter got so big) who have little to no money anyway…

BUT, it IS still illegal to get books online for free unless the author allows it (like how Stephenie Meyer had posted the finished 12 chapters of midnight sun on her website)

SO… My question…

If my book (that I’m working on now) gets published and sells well… DO YOU think I should release a “bootleg-book” in the series? (It’d probably be available as an e-book and audio-book as well as in-print, but as a “bootleg” the ebook would be free)

Do you think that’d be a good idea? (My publisher would like it because it’d be something like a “pr-stunt” but my “future fans” would like it because they wouldn’t have to pay for it or wait for it to be in at their library)

SO…

Good Idea?

Or Bad Idea???

& remember, this is “if my first book sells well” which means IF it is popular and actually has some fans, lol
Okay, guys, I’m not saying I’ll do it with my first, or even necessarily second book, and I’m DEFINATELY not saying I’ll do it without the full support of my literary agent and publisher, lol…

& Alex, I’M that broke (I have like 3 books left to read that I bought a few months ago & I have something like $5 in the bank right now. When I run out of books I’ll go nuts & have to raise up money specifically for that purpose. Last time I was at borders I’d been without new books for MONTHS so I spent the $500 that I had on books… YES, I bought $500 of books!!! & it was totally worth it. :p

I got Vampire Academy (1, 2, & 3) House of night (1-4), Generation dead, 4 by Yasmine Gaelnorn, Vampire Kisses (1-4, got 5 for christmas a month or two later) & a bunch more… PLUS 2 new journals)

..

I’m kind of crazy about books, lol.

Do I need to back-up my Yahoo address book and e-mails when I re-install windows?

I only use Outlook with my paid e-mail account and I know how to back that up, but what do I do for Yahoo? Do I need to back up addresses and e-mails on Yahoo, or are they stored on Yahoo’s server? If I need to back them up – how? I looked under export and did not see a way to export to CD or DVD only to other programs. I don’t want to export to Outlook because I don’t want it to affect what I have there already
