I don’t think that you can read books online for free, i only think that you can read the summaries. The reason i think that you can’t is because it’s almost the same thing as pirating movies. You read a book that is supposed to cost money and no body gets paid. I looked up this really good site to get book summaries if that helps. And you can also buy books at Amazon for a really great price.

The only one that can legally allow you to read the book online is the author, because he gets paid by the book. Check his website.
Just because someone may have scanned the book and uploaded it without the author’s permission does not make it ok to read.
