something happened a month ago to my Yahoo e-mail program. I no longer have an address book, just contacts?

Prior to the switch to the new format, I could write or recieve an e-mail, pull up my address book (list) check the appropiate contacts and forward the e-mail. Now, withthis change I no longer can send a number of people the same message. My wife, who also has a Yahoo account, ON THIS VERY COMPUTER still has the old set up and it works beautifully. She can pull up her address list and perform the task mentioned above, just like old times. Tell me how to “return to the past” Thank you .

The option has changed. The term “Address Book” has changed to “Contacts”, but opening this address book is for editing only. Here’s an easier way.
After you click on Compose or Forward to open the message window, click on “To” to open your address book which is set up only for emailing.
Check the boxes next to the contacts you wish to send to, go to the top of the list and click “Insert Checked Contacts.” The addresses you selected will be in the “TO” field and the address book will close.
To return to classic mail, click Switch to Classic Mail at the top of your mail screen, or use one of these links and click yes to opt out:
