I purchased and ebook but cannot download from the website link. from my computer. How do I correct this?

I have contacted the seller and they have sent me information on what to do. But it does not work on my computer. I tried a computer at the public library and I can get the information with no problem, so the problem is my computer. What can I do to correct the problem on my computer.
