What is the best way to promote my fictional ebook?

I just wrote a vampire book with dark ****** undertones called Blood Ties. It is a vampire revenge story that turns into a love story. I was told I did a fantastic job writing it, and the emotions are there, everything is just right, now how to reach my readers.

I have submitted it to a publisher and hope it will be released soon. Now how do I go about promoting the book? Any ideas?

    How about asking Yahoo answers users if they have heard about your EBook since it has to be in the form of a question.

    email everyone you know and ask them to send it to there friends and start a chan-email for it and make sure you have the link there
