When downloading a torrent Ebook file, can I just download the book I want or do I have to download them all?

I found the book I want, but it was on a list with hundreds of other books that I don’t want. Right now I’m downloading them all. Is there a way to just download the one I want and leave the others? That would sure be quicker.
