Has anyone tried the exback program?

I was wondering if anyone on here has tried the ebook on exback.com as I am abouts to try it after my next meet with my ex and just wanted to know if many of you tried it and if it has worked you? I really want to get back with my ex, we just had a lot of added pressures around us as 8 months into our relationship my mother was dianosed with terminal lung cancer & I dealt with it well but it affected me in the way where it was harder for me to make decisions about whether to go out or stay in with my mum and it caused silly arguments between me & my ex at the time and if she wanted to not come over one night when it was her weekend to come over instead of being relaxed about it I would get stressed as I wanted to be with my partner but couldn’t as I was supposed to be seeing my mother and would again cause silly arguments.My mothers illness brought out my negative traits and magnified them.This got better towards the end & I picked my life up a bit but then my ex said she was uphappy.
We ended up being together for nearly 3 years!
Also this was a same *** relationship.
My partner left me not the other way around in case there is any confusion. She just wants to be friends but I want more!
