Well, it’s as simple as this: i can’t afford an ebook reader (or electronic paper or whatever you want to call it) and i have a nice spare working LCD screen from an old laptop. Is there any way i can take it and use some sort of easy storage (pen drive) and convert it to a portable reader? Of course i don’t want anything fancy, just displaying .txt or maybe .doc will do fine.

If details about price can be provided it will be appreciated but at present i dont even know about any existing hardware.
I mean an ebook reader hardware.

i was wanting to burn my dvd collection to my computer to put on the hard drive. what software would i need and which format would be best for later viewing on my laptop and tv? thx for any help..LOTS of DETAILS plz, thx

I have a my ebook external hard drive as well that hooks up to my usb. So I was woundering since my hard drive is failing can I move everything from the hard drive thats failing to my ebook hard drive??? Or even can I jus load windows and then my programs and what not on my ebook hard drive?? And run my system from my external hard drive??? I have more than enough memory on there.
