My parents recently gave me a Sony Reader device because my dad didn’t use it and I would love to use this thing, but before I open up the package, I have been looking to see if I could get my college textbooks on this thing.
I looked the Sony e-book store, and they only had novels and no textbooks. I downloaded then VitalSource and it surprisingly had one of my marketing books, but none of my other books.
My question is, can the Sony Reader support many textbooks? If so, what is the best website to download the books since I have had no luck finding a good source.
Thanks!

There aren’t any opportunities for me to get taught how to program, but I’ve wanted to learn for over 10 years. I’m tired of waiting for someone to teach me, so I want to teach myself. I have decent HTML experience and want to step it up to Programming applications. I’ve tried books, programs, CDs, the works; none worked for me. Every book/tutorial exercise would hand me a sheet of code, tell me to copy it, and not explained what any of it friggin’ meant or why it works. I need to learn how to read and understand code and learn to manipulate it explained in easy-to-understand, plain English. Any FREE online sources, e-books, websites, documents, tutorials, faqs, instructional programs, etc. that could be linked, I’d REALLY appreciate it.
I have Microsoft Visual Studio.net Version 2003 (Academic Version). The program’s tutorials are the same way as any other.

I teach a first-level, “Introduction to Programming with Visual Basic .NET,” course at an English-speaking college (CEGEP) in Quebec. I am looking for a free e-book for the students, many of whom have never programmed before. Ideally, it would contain many examples and problems or exercises I could assign to students. Do you have any suggestions? If so, how would this book compare in quality to the ones you normally have to purchase for “big bucks?” Thanks.

I bought an e-book, and it has a lot of useful information, and I want to be able to copy bits of it into notes that I am making on OneNote. However the e-book doesnt allow you the function of opening it with the program you want it to. Is there anyway of doing this? Where is the e-book stored on your computer? Is the little icon, a link to it’s source online. Help, I am new to e-book-ing?

I want to build a simple website that sells an eBook. The site will be automated so that when the customer makes the purchase, they automatically get the eBook. And also get added to the auto-responder, for future emails. AND… I want to do this with Ebay purchased eBooks also. Where can I go to get info on how to do this? Thanks.

I guess my biggest question, is there a trustworthy website, or business that can help me? Can I send them my materials so they can see exactly what I do and they can turn my materials into a very easy to use/understand ebook or evideo?
